As always the service at Crutchfield was excellent. I used to have problems with using a different shipping (gifts) and billing address with my Amex but apparently the verification process is much better and the order was executed withour a glitch. I ordered next day air service by 3:00 p.m (UPS) and received the order the next day without a hitch (they even let me know that there would be a slight delay because of bad weather. Overall 100% service.

crutchfield.com is the best electronics website out there. I've made several purchases from them ranging from car audio to hometheater and have yet to be disappoointed. The people I spoke with before the purchase and the fellow I talked with after the tv arrived were very helpful and friendly. Panasonic had left out one important step in the set-up of the tv, but within 20 seconds the Crutchfield tech knew exactly what we needed to do to get the tv operational. We're thrilled with the product and the folks at Crutchfield--whom we chose, by the way, because Consumer Reports rated Amazon.com and Crutchfield as the top two places to buy a tv on line, and Tweeters one of the best places to buy at a retail store. Tweeters wouldn't budge much on price, leaving a $278 gap between the onlines and Tweeters, so we ruled out Tweeters, who were downright rude, using scare tactics we thought were totally uncalled for. And we chose Crutchfield over Amazon because the Amazon tv was really being sold by a company named Beach Camera who said their policy on returning a set that had problems was that they don't allow returns. And, frankly, we had some misgivings about buying a tv from a company whose expertise was, clearly, focused on cameras, not tvs. A week after our purchase (which arrived a day early, by the way), we think we chose the right vendor.
