Once I got the computer there was a problem with it, and trying to get it resolved became a nightmare, so I have returned it for a refund and will not ever buy anything from Dell.

Frustrating at times. At first was told credit card did not go through. Called, e-mailed, got that straighten out. Then told shipment had been delayed a week. Could not reach Dell by phone (put on indefinate hold) to cancel order. Then sent e-mail to cancel order. Received e-mail response saying order could not be cancelled. Then low and behold, order arrived at ealiest date that I expeced would be possible (4 days from original order). Set up system and all is well wih the world. I will keep it!

The major problem with ordering was probably my lack of computer expertise.....trying to follow the directions to place the order, thinking I had followed correctly, and having to repeat the process several times before 'getting it right'. Next time I'll call and speak to someone in tech support (in India.....!) I really communicate better with a PERSON than with my computer! Thanks

Dell advertised that the item I tried to purchase would have "free 2nd day shipping." When I "checked out" I couldn't get this offer. When I had an online chat, I was told that the web master was slow in updating the site and that that offer had expired earlier. So I cancelled my order later. The cancellation process was simple and efficient.

Well, after I filled out everything and gave them my credit card info, then they tell me its going to be 15 days before they even ship the product! Upfront they are stating 3-5 shipping days, and product in stock, but apparently its not in stock if I have to wait 15 days before they can ship it.

Dell made it simple to put together the computer we needed.If we made a mistake or changed our minds we could go back and make the changes with no problem.The price was very comparable to the shopping mall stores.We got a good price,the product we wanted and it was simple.

I try to do it twice and both times the person on the other end have problems with basic English.
And I mean basic.They forgot to put one of the discs in the box.
