Horrible experience. Home Shopping Network misrepresented the shipping terms.

Overall, I was quite unhappy with my experience using the Home Shopping Network. I ordered a garage fan for my father's birthday, and confirmed with Customer Service that the fan would be delivered in 3 days if I paid an additional $40 for shipping. The Customer Service representative indicated that shipping would not be a problem as this was a stock item and would leave the warehouse the same day as the order. On day 3 (the scheduled delivery date), I was informed via e-mail that the fan had just been drop-shipped by the manufacturer and would arrive in an additional 7 to 10 days. 7 days later the fan did finally arrive. Of course I called Customer Service, and was told that they could not give me a reason for the misrepresentation or delay, and said that all I could expect was a refund for the additional shipping amount. I will most certainly not shop with the Home Shopping Network in the future.

I am so very disappointed with this company and its policies. I recently purchased 2.6ct Moissanite and Genuine Ruby Round 3-Stone 14K Ring SIZE 5 order# 460187537. The company would not send it to me because they could not verify my address. I lease this house and have been here since December I offered to send the loss prevention rep a copy of my lease but she said "sorry that's not our policy". This was supposed to be my engagement ring. I am completely devastated. I called customer service on 2/20/2008 at 6:00pm and the rep never mentioned this. Instead of telling 10 people of this horrible experience I'll be able to tell 10,000 with the help of the internet.

I have purchased many, many, many items from HSN. I have never ever had any problems with receiving or returning items(which has only been maybe once or twice out of 5 or 6 years). They deliver quickly, customer service has always been great and am very, very satisfied with HSN.
However, I recently purchased the "Today's Special", a computer by Gateway. Although it is still new and I have not had any trouble. I noticed that there was no return label in the box as with other products. Upon reading some the feedback where some people have tried to return theirs and the difficult time they seem to be having, I am getting a "little" nervous. Someone told me that Gateway was purchased by "ACER". Could this be the reason for all of the "great" buys on HSN for Gateway products and the non-caring attitude from Gateway's customer service when asked how to return items? |

I love shopping HSN. I have never had a complaint about any customer service I have used. My returns are minimal which says a lot for the products they sell. Quality has not been a problem and any issues I have had have been resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. I would and do recommend shopping HSN,

They make it easy to order and if you change your mind or come across something a few minutes later that may be more to your liking, they have made it easy to cancel the order too...I really don't have any problems when I order from them and enjoy perusing their website everyday for that bargain or item that isn't in my stores here...Thanks for making it easy.

Most items I have purchased have been perfect. There have been a few items that were either broken or didn't look as good in person. When returning an item the processing is extremely slow and the wait time on receiving a credit on my credit card is terribly slow and on more than one occation, I have NEVER been credited for items I paid for and returned..

I have shopped there for 20 years and spent a ton of money and they refused my order based on an acct over 20 years old they are trying to make me pay for the same item twice so now they will not let me order anymore they have messed these accts up 3 times now and as much as I spend you would think they would want me as a customer but no they are idiots
