I was apprehensive about ordering from HomeCenter.com after reading all of the reviews; however, they had very good prices and seemed to have very good delivery on in-stock products. I called to confirm availability of an Elkay sink. Dominic confirmed that it was in stock, so I ordered the sink over the phone. I ordered on July 9, 2008. The sink shipped on July 10 and I received it in perfect condition on July 15th. Immediately after ordering I received a confirmation email, and I called in several days to check on my order status and was given a UPS tracking number.

Do not order from this company or from their division called Remodelcenter.com. I ordered a sink on 6/18/08 thru Homecenter.com's other site Remodelcenter.com. Was given order # but order confirmation back from Homecenter.com was that order confirmation

HORRIBLE customer service! Product arrived in very timely manner. Took it home & when I opened it it was broken. They are refusing to replace it or send em a replacement part. Told me I sign for it with UPS and didn't note that it was broken. The box did not have visible signs to indicate the kind of damage that was found on the inside. Told me if UPS doesn't pay for the light fixture then they won't replace it. I called the Manufacturer and they were not happy with homecenter.coms lack of customer service. I did everything via email so I have it all in writing and I forwarded it to the Manufacturer they were shocked at my treatment. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I wish I had read the reviews on Epinions before I purchased from this company. I am out hundreds of dollars on a broken light fixture. If the manufacturer doesn't step up and help me then I will have to re-purchase the same fixture from someone else. Buyer beware!!

False Advertising, RUDE customer service reps, slooowwww response and excessively long wait times for telephone support. Double charged me for water filters that can be bought from online competitors at 1/2 the price, then refused to allow return for full refund. Wanted to charge 25% (!) restocking fee and I pay return shipping!
Have disputed with credit card company, will get full refund and probably keep product. |

I ordered a Franke sink and it was perfect. Dominic went out of his way to make sure I received it as quickly as possible. After I ordered it I found out my granite could be installed the next day as long as I had my sink. Dominic contacted UPS and they got the sink in that night!And I was able to pick it up first think in the AM.
He saved my easter holiday!! Not sure why there are so many negatives on this site but my experience was absolutely flawless. Dominic responded to all my emails within minutes! |

This company has the worst service of any company I have ever dealt with. My "in stock" order was never shipped. After 3 weeks of waiting I called to find out that they no longer stocked this product. They were willing to find another distributor, but the price would be $50 more and it would take an additional 2-3 weeks for delivery. I canceled my order and requested a receipt. I have emailed their customer service 4 times, left 4 voice mails, talked to 2 customer service people and have yet to have confirmation of the order being canceled or get my money back. If you do call them, expect to be on hold for 20 to 30 minutes or longer! The people you finally do talk with are rude and promise things that they never deliver on. It has been 3 weeks since I canceled my order and my credit card still has the $500 charge on it. I have now filed a dispute with AMEX. This place is the worst. Do not shop here. There are many other places on the web that have the same products for less. Shop at your own risk.

I was scammed by these people when I was called 1 hour after my order and told that the Dyson Vacuum I had ordered was not $299.99 but the real price was $460.00! I told them to cancel the order, they put me on hold and they came back and said the price was now $415.00. I wish I would have gone elsewhere.

I purchased an item in the wrong finish. I called to return that item and order the proper one. The process went well. I was sent he return documents and the correct part was received.
That was over a month ago and I have not received the credit to my account. I have called on many times and been told the the papers were sent to the person who issues credits, but I could not contact him or her in any way. I asked if there was a customer service person and was told it was the boss and there was no way to get in contact. |

I am writing to tell you and everyone else how terrible I have been treated. I ordered a stainless single bowl 18 gauge sink back in Nov. I never heard anything from you and after 2 and a half months my granite had to be put in and I had to go buy a sink I didn't want which was a double. A week later I received your sink. I have tried to return it but haven't gotten a authorization. I was told I had to pay a 25% restocking fee and return postage which I don't feel I should have to pay either considering the length of time it took to get it here. The lady who e-mailed me back was very rude. I am checking into this farther to see if I have to pay this. I feel the trouble you put me through and now having what I don't want should be enough for you to take it back without charging that fee.

They do not have any customer service person,Calls take a minimum of 45 minutes of being on hold before you speak with someone,that is, if your call is ever answered! Then you are transferred to another phone line that will never be answered no one will pick the phone up a second time. I spend 6 hours calling them within 5 days. Don't try emailing them, they will not respond by email and there is no one there to assist you in sales or answer question before anything gets shipped. The boxes arrive damaged and are repacked and so much tape around them, you know they are not new when they arrive.
Only after they ship the item(s) will they respond by telling you they charge a restocking fee of 20% or more. Folks you can order from various sites without any restocking fees. |

BUYER BEWARE! You will find what you want at a great price. You will pay - and they will charge your credit card immediately. But then they will call you, sometimes a week later, and tell you that unless you pay additional money, they will not ship the item you want. They are a bait-n-switch shop in the internet age.
They charge your credit card immediately, claim that the item was misadvertised (albeit the same item is STILL advertised at the SAME "lower" price), and that unless you pay hundreds more, they won't send you the item you've already been charged for! Don't buy from them unless you are willing to pay the price. |

Do not place any order with this company without verifying that the item is in stock. The web site cannot be relied upon for inventory accuracy. If you place an order, your CC will be charged immediately. Even if they cannot find the product, you will be charged 4% for the privilege of placing an order with them that they cannot deliver. Expect no help or follow up with back ordered or discontinued items.

OH! MY! What can I say, but this was a horrible experience working with these people. I will never do business with them again and highly recommend no one else does either. This company, in my opinion, is completely bogus and customer service is non existent. Do yourself a favor and save yourself much grief and buy elsewhere. The small savings you think you might get here is not worth the hassles if something goes wrong with your order, and it probably will.

Dominic Anfossi was wonderful. I had an urgent need to get a faucet very quickly as the granite installers were coming in two days. The faucet I had purchased from Home Depot turned out to be the wrong one. Dominic made sure the new faucet I ordered was processed the same day and shipped out so I could receive it in time. It was the perfect faucet and looks great in my new kitchen. Thanks very much!!!

I ordered a tub from Homecenter. The staff was polite, knowledgeable and helpful. They immediately confirmed my order and responded promptly to emails and telephone calls after the order was placed. When there were delays and problems, on the manufacturer's side, they promptly notified me and gave me various options. The free shipping promised by phone, though different on the website, was honored without any discussion.
The bathtub was an expensive and heavy order requiring special freight delivery. I can't believe how smooth it all went. I am impressed by the two staff members I spoke with - Tony and Christine. I will look at Homecenter's products before ordering from another seller. |

I read these reviews at times and just have to laugh. In life there are people that just get poor results because they're idiots. I've come to believe that the same people get shafted over and over again, because they just don't know how to get things done. I utilized Homecenter on several big ticket items (over $2k), as well as several smaller purchases. I had to change the orders several times in each case (because of design and decorating issues on my end). I called in each case, got someone on the phone right away, and got my changes executed flawlessly without any belly-aching. I received each item as ordered, on time, in perfect condition. Don't believe these bad reviews. Every company has its bad days, but I have yet to experience one from Homecenter.
