I looked all over online for a small-sized refrigerator. I read countless "stay away" reviews for all the stores at which I found the refrigerator. Newegg had the fewest, although still plenty of concerning reviews. Total price including delivery was $100 more than the others. Prior to ordering I called and spoke to "Jeff" about some of my concerns based on the reviews I had read. He assured me I would not have any problems, and attempted to reassure me by telling me I could return my purchased item for a refund within 30 days of purchase. With caution, I proceeded to order the refrigerator on a Thursday. On Friday I was notified via email that I had been charged for my order. The weekend and Monday and Tuesday rolled by. On Wednesday I received an email stating that my order had shipped. I was not able to track shipment with any of the information provided to me in that email. On Friday afternoon a driver called from 30 minutes away to say he was en route. Fortunately I was at home anyway. I examined the package closely, as some of the styrofoam was caved in on the side, presumably from a tie-down strap. The refrigerator did not sustain any damage. I accepted the delivery and I am happy with the refrigerator. In my opinion Newegg's communication choices are inadequate. I see why people feel left hanging, as I read in some other reviews. Overall my experience was positive and I would consider doing business with them in the future.
