Buyers BEWARE...this place is a scam. The never sent me my item and gave me a fake tracking # with UPS. I have been calling the office for 3 days and no one has called me back same person answers the phone and advised no one is around who can help me.Please think twice about shopping here never do it. THEY ARE A SCAM

Although communication about shipping wasn't as forthcoming as I had thought it should be, the day that I went to track it, was the day it was arriving...so I was happy with it. I wouldn't have had to track if I knew it was arriving that day BUT, because it was arriving that very day...i was VERY happy.

I was unexpectantly charged for extra customs which was not made clear at the time of purchase. Because popular glasses used UPS delivery i had to pay the customs AND a UPS admin fee of 13.50euro. this pushed the cost of the product up by 38.55euro which made it more expensive for me to buy the sunglasses online with popularglasses than in a shop.

everything was very good. my only comment if the merchandise arrived a little crooked; not sure if it was due to packaging or if there was an inherent issue with the item. they are glasses and easily re-shaped so i'm not terribly concerned.

They knowingly sent the wrong size frames as they did not have the correct size. I called them and they promised to reimburse me the shipping cost to send them back. They stated they had the correct size in stock and would re-ship them after I send the first pair back, I sent them back the same day. 20 days later, no frames arrived. I called back and they said the order is quote "Still processing" When I pushed the issue, they said their waiting to get them from Italy!. After being lied to so many times, I cancelled the order and asked for my shipping cost. They said they could NOT refund the shipping cost because the "system" does not allow it.
This is a company that will tell you ANYTHING you want to hear. They accept NO responsibility. I finally spoke to the supervisor "Steven" and he said he would send me a check, OK, that was over a month and a half ago, where is it Steven?
Liars.

Stay away!!!! This place is a complete scam. They will charge your card and hold the charge for days before shipping your order. Their customer service will charge you 20% restocking even if your order is new and didnt ship yet. Beware of these guys. Pay more at a reputable shop.Some people even claim to receiving used glasses.

I faxed in a document for reimbursement for my insurance. I have not received and I was given no timeline for when I might.
Also, the glasses looked like a display pair. I should have been told that's what I was getting. There is a hairline scratch on the frame. Not enough to send them back, but not 100% perfect.

Order placed on May 3, until today (May 18) the item is not even shipped. No feedback whatsoever, I need to call (What seems to be very disturbing if you do...) to hear about the status, they said it would be shipped last week, wich doesn't seem to be the case. A lot of do's and dont's but Popularglasses does simply nothing at all. I will file a plaint at my credit card cy if the shipment doesn't take place this week. PopularGlasses is a disaster!
