I had a terrible experience with this store. Actually, I do most of my shopping online and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I placed my order on Dec. 7th. I never received shipping confirmation. I went on to the site and tracked my package. It was set arrive at my home on the 18th. I called on the 22nd when it had yet to arrive. I had to leave a message as no one picked up. I never received a response to my phone call. I then emailed them. They sent the tracking info that I already had and told me to call them if the package did not come by the end of the week (after Christmas a great time to be without a vacuum!) I called this morning, the 27th. I actually spoke to someone who told me that there was nothing that could be done as they do not have up to date tracking info. She said that we would have to wait and see if the package came back to TotalVac before they could do anything. This really does not help me as I have guests coming the 31st and still no vacuum bags. Or any idea when this package might show up. It has been my experience that most stores are happy to resend a $25 dollar item when it gets lost in the mail as they are interested in having their customers return. For example, Plow and Hearth resent a $100 dollar item that had failed to show up. They resent it overnight. When the original item showed up, they had UPS pick it up free of charge. I am truly appalled that TotalVac offered me no help and has left me stranded without vacuum bags over the holidays. Thanks a lot! Now I have to find another company that will send the bags overnight (I have to special order them as they are not carried by most stores) and pay the extra shipping and handling.
