Solid Performer, Thin & Quiet

Pros: Quiet; thin for good air flow; effortless installation.

Cons: 7200 RPM drives aren't more expensive...

The Bottom Line: If you value stable, quiet operation and don't care that other people call this an "entry level" drive, this may be for you.

Review: Why would anyone buy a 5400 RPM 40GB drive when you can get a 7200RPM drive for about the same money? My opinions may be subjective, but this drive is QUIET. The Maxtor literature makes a big deal about reliability, and I have no reason to doubt this. ...
