Not what you think........

My husband and I had a night free to go out and we chose to go to see some movies. Our first choice was Romeo Must Die. It was my choice actually which is a big shock. I do not normally care for karate type movies (unless you count The Karate Kid). I totally enjoyed this movie. The previews lead you to believe this is a modern day love story and it really isn't.

If you want a complete movie experience I would definitely recommend this one. We were lauging our heads off, on the edge of our seats, awed by the action, as well as a little romantic interest. This movie has it all.

Jet Li is quite impressive. The talk is that the powers that be had to have him slow down for the camera to keep up with him.

Aaliya showed a true gift for acting that you do not usually see with a singer/crossover.

I was definitely shocked when comparing this to other Jet Li films that I have seen as you did not have to deal with pantomime while they spoke totally different words.

I feel that anyone would enjoy this movie since it seems to have something for everyone. Guys, take your girls to this one. They wont be dissappointed!! It was nice to wait and see though after it had been out a while because we had the WHOLE theater to ourselves.
